Jane is undoubtably one of the finest batik on silk and watercolour on silk artists in England. Her batik technique has been described as exceptional but she is also a skillful and imaginative artist with subjects ranging from the everyday scene or still life right through to the surreal. She learned her batik skills in the highlands of Scotland but the powerful expressions, the beauty and the quality she puts into her pictures are very much part of herself.
